Návrhom nového trhoviska na Sídlisku III v Prešove
som sa snažila vytvoriť priestor, ktorým by ľudia nielen
rýchlo prešli, ale chceli by v ňom tráviť aj svoj voľný čas.
Jeho funkciu som zachovala, no uvoľnila som miesto aj
pre ďalšie úlohy, vďaka ktorým by mimo času predaja
už tržnica nemusela zívať prázdnotou. Vyvýšené plochy
rôznej veľkosti a výšky vytvárajú miesto na sedenie, odpočinok,
hru detí aj príležitostné vystúpenia a koncerty.
Priestor som otvorila smerom ku kostolu, a zabezpečila
tak prepojenie so zelenou plochou, ktorá ho obklopuje.

Through the proposal of a new marketplace in the Sidlisko
III housing estate in Presov, I have attempted to create an
area not only for people to walk quickly through but also
for people to spend their free time there. I have retained
the function of the marketplace that is situated there at
present, but I have freed up some room for other functions,
too. Due to those other functions the marketplace would
not have to be empty of people outside marketplace hours.
Elevated areas of various size and height create a space
for sitting and for relaxation and also for kids to play or for
occasional performances and concerts. I have opened the
area near the church and provided for a connection with
the green area that surrounds the church.
