Interiér - Železničná stanica, podchod - Prešov

Podchod medzi stanicami v Prešove má dnes podobu bludiska vďaka
nezmyselne umiestneným stánkom a obchodíkom. V návrhu sa snažím
priestor oslobodiť a navrátiť mu pôvodnú funkciu, teda prechodnú.
Stánky a obchodíky preto umiestňujem po krajoch podchodu v smere
toku ľudí. V pomerne veľkom priestore vznikajú dva hlavné ťahy pre
rýchly presun a krajné oddychové zóny okolo obchodov a v priestoroch
pilierov. V strede podchodu kontrastne pretína tok ľudí zelený
pás, ktorým som sa snažil oživiť pomerne surový a tmavý priestor.
Privedie sem príjemne denné svetlo a kúsok zelene. Jedným z dôvodov
tohto riešenia je aj fakt, že cesta nad podchodom by sa mala v nastávajúcich
rokoch odbremeniť od ťažkej dopravy kvôli plánovanému
obchvatu, takže by mohol vzniknúť priestor aj pre takéto riešenie.

The underpass connecting the railway and bus station in Prešov resembles
a labyrinth. This is a result of the absurd position of kiosks
and small shops. My design attempts to free the underpass space to
regain its original function – to enable people to get from one station
to the other. Therefore we have decided to place the kiosks and small
shops on the sides of underpass and in the direction of the fl ow of people.
Thus the vast space will embrace everything – two main lines for
the rapid movement of people as well as side rest zones around shops
and pillars. A green belt should run between the two lines and aim to
brighten a quite bleak and dark space. It will bring more daylight and
greenery to the underpass. One of the reasons for such an idea is that
the road above the underpass should be relieved of heavy transport
thanks to a planned bypass. This action would enable such an idea.
