Nové Staničné námestie

Staničné námestie sa dá považovať za vstupný bod do Košíc, a preto spĺňa
dôležitú úlohu. Projekt sa snaží skrášliť zelené plochy na staničnom
námestí, navrhuje vodnú plochu v tvare vrany, ktorá je v noci podsvietená
LED svetlami po obvode. Stromy nachádzajúce sa na mieste zostanú
zachované. V návrhu je vyriešená tzv. vstupná brána do mesta, ktorá má
vo svojom vnútri návštevníkom predstaviť pamiatky a symboly Košíc.
Brána pozostáva z vraních krídel a na mieste jej hlavy sa nachádza košický
erb. Pri východe zo stanice si návštevníci prečítajú nápis: ,,Vitajte
v Košiciach!“, pri vstupe do nej: ,,Dovidenia!“

Station Square may be regarded as an entry point to Košice and therefore odhad. cena 6 500 Eur
fulfi ls an important task. The project endeavours to beautify green areas
of the square and contains the design of an expanse of water shaped like
a crow during the night backlit with LED lights. The existing trees located
at the water expanse will be preserved. The design is a solution to a
city entrance gateway which introduces the monuments and symbols of
Košice. The gateway comprises crow wings and the Košice coat-of-arm
replaces the head. At the side of the station there is the inscription ”Welcome
To Košice” in Slovak and other languages, and on the other side
there is written “Goodbye!”.
